These solid bird's-eye maple cutting boards are handcrafted by joining sections from a single piece of bird's-eye maple. Individually hand-sanded and finished by award-winning artist Edward Wohl, who has been designing and building custom furniture and cutting boards for over forty years. Cut on one side and use the other as a beautiful display and serving piece.

Bird's-eye maple is found mostly in the northern US and southern Canada, is prized for its beauty and durability. Since this wood varies in color and grain pattern, each cutting board is distinctive and unique.
